Since 1958 the Brussels-based school IHECS organizes education in the field of journalism and communication by matching media theory with true practice.
With the knowledge of today and knowing what the future will bring, the school aims at fine tuning its teaching methods in line with today’s professional practices. In order to do this it matches a project-based learning approach with crowdfunding principles.

How we engage their crowd?
To live up with their project-based learning approach, it encourages entrepreneurial journalism among its students by allowing them crowdfund projects on the IHECS branded crowdfunding platform. In doing so, students learn how to validate ideas, value storytelling, collect necessary resources and put their ideas into practice.
The platform allows IHECS to create a future generation of entrepreneurs in journalism and media. It improves education and provides students with tools not only to learn, but also to prepare themselves for a future creating your own economy.
IHECS wanted to spark entrepreneurialism among their students and we gave their students a platform to raise money to realize their ideas.
